Brian is a seasoned Family Law Practitioner, litigator and Appellate Lawyer. He has represented persons with small estates and estates involving millions of dollars. In addition to California, he has litigated cases in Arizona, New Jersey, and Kentucky.
In addition to his extensive trial experience and extensive appellate experience, Brian has served as a Judge Pro Tem at the Superior Court, has been hired to sit as a judge in private litigation proceedings, and has lectured in Continuing Education of the Bar on Family Law and Appellate law. He has also instructed aspiring students at Western State College of Law.
He has been recognized by the State Bar of California as a Certified Specialist in Family Law. He has been inducted as a "Fellow" in the Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He has received the highest rating (AV) by Martindale-Hubbell.
Brian lives in Huntington Beach with his wife Rose Marie Saylin, a Literacy Specialist with the City of Huntington Beach. They have two adult children and enjoy their six grandchildren. For relaxation, Brian plays competitive tennis on courts throughout Southern California as well as enjoying reading, boating and scuba diving.
